The Zambezi Off-Road Club organized another fantastic ‘Victoria Falls Enduro’ in May 2021, with all proceeds donated to non profit organisations that support the wildlife and domestic animals in the area, including VAWZ. Riders come from Zimbabwe, Zambia, Botswana and South Africa to tackle the fun but tough off-road trail ride for motorbikes and quads in the Hwange District Communal Lands surrounding the beautiful Victoria Falls. This year there was a record-breaking field of over 100 riders, one of whom, Ross Branch, had completed the Dakar Rally. The Enduro is run over two days - the first ride of 40km is the sighting lap for riders. The second ride is the actual race and is a timed event, won this year by Josh Goby. In the evenings, riders and their teams gathered at a wonderful Victoria Falls venue to enjoy drinks, serious bike discussions and a meal together. We - and the animals - thank all the organisers, sponsors, participants, helpers and spectators. See you next year!!
